At the DriveWise driving school in London Ontario, our goal is to teach students to be safe and confident drivers. We prepare our students for their G2 and G drive tests with a diverse learning approach that includes interactive in-class learning, in-car lessons and sessions with our driving simulator. Our approach to driving lessons is what sets us apart from the competition. We also have a state of the art driving simulator that simulates real driving hazards, including simulating the dangers of drinking & driving and texting & driving. Our SafeStart Beginner Driver Education programs are Ministry of Transportation approved and recognized by the insurance industry. Our students include beginner drivers, international students, new residents, new immigrants, and senior citizens who want to practice their driving skills. We teach our students cooperative driving strategies during in-car lessons. Using our driving simulator, we also teach students defensive driving strategies like how to control skids and driving in winter conditions. When it’s time for you to take your Ontario drive test, you’ll feel confident in your driving skills and happy with your driving school experience at DriveWise.

North – Driving Lessons at Saint André Bessette

North London’s Preferred Driving School

If you live in the north end of London, Ontario and are looking for a driving school that is as convenient as it is educational, DriveWise’s location at Saint André Bessette Catholic Secondary School is perfect for you. Located on Fanshawe Park Road just east of Hyde Park Road, this is a great location for anyone who is ready to learn how to drive!

Our driving school offers lessons to students at Saint André Bessette and residents who live close by and has proven to be a popular program because of our unique approach to driver’s education. Unlike many other driving schools in London, our driving program has three different elements that target all styles of learning:

  1. Classroom instruction – With one of our experienced teachers to teach you the rules of the road, driving basics and other important information.
  2. Driving simulator – Allows you to experience what it feels like to be behind the wheel without any actual risk to yourself or other drivers. You’ll be able to practice driving in snowy or wet conditions so that you’re prepared for the real thing!
  3. In-car driving lessons – This gives you the hands-on experience you need to learn to drive safely while following the rules and also to pass your G1 road test.

Taking your driving’s ed in London’s north end is an excellent place to learn how to drive because of its close proximity to country roads – you’ll be able to learn how to speed up and slow down with ease. Since we’re near a lot of residential neighbourhoods like Sunningdale, Hyde Park, Sherwood Forest and even Masonville, you’ll also be able to practice driving in a lower speed area with lots of people around, not to mention being able to learn how to parallel park in a low-pressure area!

Because of our location in such a quickly developing part of London, there are lots of options for students to grab lunch nearby. Walkable restaurant options include McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Boston Pizza, Montana’s, Union Burger and Sushi Galore, plus there’s also a Starbucks close by! After a day of driving lessons you might choose to unwind by exploring the shops in the London North Supercentre which includes a Walmart, Ardene’s, Garage, Old Navy, Sport Chek and many more stores.

Coming from another part of the city and would like to go to a driving school that’s a little closer to home? We also offer driving lessons at John Paul II Catholic Secondary School and Fanshawe College. Visit our locations page for a complete listing of our driving school locations!
